This week is o level higher chinese oral in the sec schools and IP schools
The dsa emails are generated by the secondary schools or IP schools. These schools do not need to conduct p s l e oral. :-)
but that being said, i dont think all the teachers are involved in o level hcl and not all the teachers are involved in dsa, so good luck.

Back then I think I qualified for R or HC but was too ignorant to want to follow friends…..
Exactly my experience during my O level results. Not C6 for my Geog but B3 was bad enough for me to miss out on RJC by 1 pt. Went to HJC 2nd choice and hated it.
But can somebody explain why IP students need to care so much abt Y3 subject combis since they skip O levels?
-

HCJC? - I met fantastic teachers there though...
As for Y3 subject combination, in my opinion, concerns portfolio & opportunities for further enrichment -

No wonder ACSI is your 1st choice for your son.

English oral topic is on recycling, hence this topic will not be tested for Day 2 too.

I came from an English-speaking family though went to SAP school. My mistake was not doing enough research about HCJC’s culture. I should have skipped that and put my 3rd choice NJC as 2nd choice instead.

HCJC has good teachers definitely.
As for my son’s 6 choices, we are trying to find out which schools are the best fit for him. -

Wah... so maybe can translate the things to say in English, @strawberryking!

That's the principle of recycling, isn't it? :scratchhead: -

Back then (unlike now) was much harder to do research on the schools. During my time, HCJC was linked with Ong Teng Cheong and NJC was linked with Lucy Tay and then you choose based on that information. Funny.

The school at Dover Road is very atas, rich in tradition and connections. I am supportive too if my child wants to go there!
