Apology to continue in this thread, just to reply.

She s doing H3 Lit although she is doing 3 other H2 science. Strange I thought but she said H3 Lit is easier to do, no need to attend lesson, OTOT (own time own target) . LIT H3 is v low number, amidst other subjects. Total H3 students for her JC is about 80.
                Hi Kimkar,

Is your daughter in Humanities scholarship, hence she is doing H3 English Literature ? Thanks

Hi phtthp, HSP is not available in every JC šŸ™‚

Also, there is no requirement to be in HSP to do H3 in any Humanities.

oh, MOE H3 Literature is research-based! Hence OTOT. MOE H3 History is similar - also research based.
                    I see.
Looks like all the H3 (History, Geography, English Literature, Economics ) in JCs, are all research based.

MOE Cambridge H3 for Econs is however, exam-based.

She is not. She did H3 Lit just because it is research based, so it is easier for her to manage her schedule. Also, she would like to add more to her portfolio. But there are some criteria to measure the eligibility.
