      Thank you for the kind wishes! Yes, we have to go down to the school next week to collect the letter of offer and attend a talk by the principal.
      Thanks for sharing once again. Your son would be delighted with this good news! 😄

        All the best.

        Thank you. - the problem is that by putting School B WL on School Preferences Form, it disqualifies you from using PSLE results to get into desired track for School A. Will have to weight carefully child’s chances of getting into School A via PSLE before putting School B on the form
        Yes, you cannot \"keep\" the WL if you want to get into secondary school via Sec 1 Posting (using PSLE results). If WL for School B is converted, the student will be posted to School B and will not participate Sec 1 Posting (using PSLE results).

          Yes indeed. He was frowning after a hard paper today but the frown turned upside down with the news 😀

            Thanks Mr Clumsy and Zac's Mum. I shall keep myself contactable. I tend to reject calls from unfamiliar numbers cos they are usually spam calls.
            During this period, I'm taking every call which comes in including the countless \"MOH,\" \"DBS\" and \"FedEx/DHL\" ones 🙂

              Can you explain more on this? is my understanding correct as below?
              If I receive WL from School B and CO from School A;

              Senario 1: on the school preference form I only put School B, but later WL is not converted.
              then will use PSLE results to go to school A or B, right?

              Senario 2: on the school preference form, I put B and A (B in front);
              if WL is not converted, I automatically accepted by school A, right?

                  Hi,

                  For Scenario 1, if WL is not converted, the student will participate in Sec 1 Posting (using PSLE results). It is advisable to put your child’s 6 school choices (you can put School B and A as first 2 choices).

                  For Scenario 2, you are correct. If WL for School B is not converted, student will be posted to School A (CO). The student will NOT participate in Sec 1 Posting (using PSLE results).

                  All the best.

                    In senario 1, during the secondary school posting, the child can still choose any school including school A and B, right?

                        In your scenario 1,
                        if your DSA Wait list is NOT converted on PSLE results released Announcement date , then Yes, u can proceed to take part in S1 posting.

                        But via S1 posting,
                        whether or not u can get into your choice schools -
                        that will depend on whether your kid managed to meet
                        the respective Secondary school's official Cut off point, or not. Sometimes,
                        there were cases where their kid's AL score coincided with the school's Cut off point, right on the very dot or boundary, while others can get in, but some still failed to get in.
