        Even so, unless they extrapolate a bit, it may be an undercount. Some people don't go to see a doctor after testing positive.

          I believe with the 70% (estimated with some being untested/unreported) , we have gained herd immunity! Yay or nay hmm ? Last month there was a wave in our extended family/school/workplace, I think everyone we know got it already. Your vaccination status gets extended by 6 months after you report/test it with a doctor at the clinic.

              My colleagues who have re-infected Omicron recently told me that the immunity period for new BA 5 or 2.25 variants are 14 days only.

                Oh, that’s a really short period. We don’t know what’s the variant we got. Happy that our vaccination status got extended 🙂 avoided the booster for a while.

                  Why need to avoid the booster? The booster is helping us to prevent severe symptoms and complications if we infected with Covid 19.

                    Oh.. I think you have misunderstood. Avoid here means “being tested and infected”, so do not need to go for booster anymore. Natural immunity!
