My DH came back from Europe last week, said nobody is wearing masks at all over there (not on plane either). He isolated himself in spare room until confirmed safe. I could have banished him to my old house (havent handover keys till after exam) but I need him here for moral support & to help buy breakfast etc.
I believe all of us here are giving you and Zac moral support. I could have help you to buy breakfast any time if I am not working full time. We are always standby you.

All (O and A) level students who have caught covid,
are not allowed to enter the exam hall & take National exam.

Note
There is No \"Re\" paper.

May refer to the section on
\"Special Considerations\",
on how they are going to mark our covid hit A-level students, in Singapore, on a \"case by case basis\" :-

Thanks for the sharing, zm & phtthp. Good that my kid managed to sit for all the prelim papers in this case.

Reason I became a little more concerned was that yesterday's cases shot up to > 4K.

2022 still the same. For PSLE no make-up (except for Oral).

Now u know why I’ve been feeling so super stressed just trying to keep my kid Covid-free.

Maybe if his prelim grades were good (comparative to school peers) I wouldn’t care so much. But prelim not good so actual must show up for better chance.
I read that PSLE is only up to 3-Oct. Hang in there!

Now we can truly empathize with parents who had kids going thru national exams the past 2 years.

@zac's mum, you are very cool, so I think this is not the first PSLE kid you had to mother 😂 How many more PSLEs must you go through?

This is the weird part. At least two years ago, everyone still very careful and trying to avoid in the months up to PSLE.

Hope most kids can sit for all of the written papers. So much prep work and effort over the last few months would be a bummer to be sitting at home on exam day.
Last year prelims-Alevels period was long & scary.
I didn't dare to let younger siblings go to school for the whole week whenever they received health risk warnings for being close contact to infected classmates, in case other HRW classmates turned positive later on & spread to them. Covid number was very high after national day.

DS1 received HRW during the last week of Alevels & had to ART before leaving house & then ART in sch 1hr before exam. Then he had to take the paper in the center of a separate classroom so that invigilator could pace along the 4 walls.

At least this year no more contact tracing & related ART stress.

Whoa today (11-Oct) more than 11K cases and I suspect it’s gonna get worse leading up to Nov.

Sci Practicals are scheduled next week.

The number shot up suddenly !
Nowadays, people don't wear masks. They let their guard down.

PSLE was over, last week.
But,
(O level and A level) are still going on.
