For the Books warehouse sale, I had been to one in the past and didn't like it. Crampy place, not very good ventilation, choice of books not that great.
But things can change (once upon a time MPH expo sale also not that fantastic). And the $2 price tag....hmmmm. A bit enticing.
Not sure if I will go, but if I do, I promise myself that if it's a failure, this will be the last time I get cheated....after that, no more.

Hello mummies,
Looking forward 2mor MPH Sales. Hope got time to go down. Last round i found a lot good books. Like Dr Serus, Usaborne all in hardcopy. -
Just sussed out the place.
Bring OCBC credit card for 10% (or is that $10....I forgot) off minimum $100 purchase.
Saw posters for new Dan Brown Lost Symbol at $20.
Was looking out for signage but only saw one that said Children Books $8, 5 for $35. Hoping they will still have $3 categories but didn't see and didn't dare to go in and have a good look. -
Back from MPH sale. Damage considerably less. Prices are still consistent with the past ($3 for 1, $10 for 5/ 1 for $5 and 5 for $20...).
Got some Neil Gaiman books (condition not that great, but at $3, I don't care), Michael Morpurgo. Nothing else that caught my eye. Was looking for G. Stilton, but cannot find. Maybe I don't have affinity with this series.
Also didn't see many Usborne Young Readers series books - only a couple of stray titles. Not many reference/non-fiction books; not many enid blytons (I only saw 1 paperback, totally don't have the omnibuses); didn't detect Little Men/Miss books. Sorry if it puts anyone off going, but I don't want to raise pp's expectations. That said, they MAY add these on Sat/Sunday.
There were lots of New Moon franchise related books, Toby Tucker (whoever that is), Disney type books.
Sorry I don't have time/energy to go General books.
But I feel that the variety this time not there. -
thanks hquek for the update!

Thanks for the post-mortem. Will not have time to go down this time, Feel much better now that I can console myself Iβm not missing much.

Thanks for update hquek. Really appreciate it.
Was thinking if I should get the kids there this afternoon, but very reluctant due to the gloomy weather. Your update certainly save me the trip. We will go National Library and Bras Basah later instead
