I made the mistake of leaving house in a leisurely manner this morning since paper only starts at 8.15am…mistakenly thought the P1-5 had the day off. Smack into the usual jam plus the heavy rain…until form teacher called at 7.35am asking whether attending or not. Very on the ball. Heard 11 kids were late to our school…hope they werent too flustered!

My P3 kid had HBL today and didn’t attend school. I didn’t know it differs from school to school ?

Yes other schools had HBL. Mine is boys school and they have figured out by now that F2F works better for boys’ learning.

No big loss, tmr I will leave early.

Thankfully you made it in time.

My kid's school (mixed neighbourhood school) still has normal f2f school hours for p1-p5. Would be good if they had HBL though as it'll be quieter environment for the p6 taking exams.

Remember to set 2 alarm clocks and prepare rain coat in case, there is any flooding on the road, you may have to walk to the school.
