\"There were a lot of young people, a lot of people trying to get away from Putin,\" he said.

Aleksey, 40, a construction worker, plans to stay in Mongolia until the situation in Russia improves, and said he would do whatever it takes to avoid the war.

\"We are not afraid, but why do we have to fight in Ukraine, why?” he asked. \"If other countries would attack Russia, we would fight for our country. But why are we going to Ukraine? For what?\"[/i][/b]

Winter is coming, but I don’t think anyone has to worry about a nuclear winter.

If you are Putin, why would you want to send in any troops, or use any nuclear missiles, unless of course, Ukraine decided to invade Russia. Since we are not going for MAD as the endgame, USA and Europe will not allow Ukraine to do that.

Besides, Putin, more than anyone else, can afford to play the long game. He is under no pressure politically, and is in no danger of being ousted. On the other hand, Europe is imploding - the Swedish and Italian far-right are on the rise after their recent elections, UK’s Johnson had already say bye and Truss’ approval is now under 20% - even worst than Johnson, DE’s Scholz isn’t doing much better than his pals while FR’s Macron is struggling to get his approval into the 40%. A few more weeks of protests and that will likely be the beginning of the end of Europe as an entity. Will Europe yield? My guess is that they will because fear cuts deeper than swords. We should see more Elon Musks in the coming days.

As for USA / Biden, they will become more and more dysfunctional after November.

Winter is going to be very cold. It makes you appreciate having warmer (hotter) weather for once.

            1. Putin had alr sent in conscripted soldiers w/o training. Just shuft weapons & go

            2. Ukraine had just submitted either application to join NATO. They will only defend & recover those parts of Ukraine that Putin left his hapless soldiers to guard.

            3. European nations under NATO had made their commitment to support Ukraine coz it is NOT JUST their war but greedy Putin will go on attacking & conquering more if NATO & US allows Putin to succeed cornering Ukraine. So, it’s critical Ukraine is not absorbed w/o the open sea access o’wise they’re dead economically. Putin will the. Be embolden coz he thinks he’s still a great Russia. Russia has shown it is no more powerful & it cannot be a dictator. The new world order have to respect sovereignty of each country.

            4. Putin is under pressure within the Kremlin now that he had lost so many Russian lives in the war. There is a risk he might just be crazy enuf to call for nuclear use. Just how fearful his Kremlin will hold him back.

If Putin can’t be dissuaded & use the nuclear eventually & fulfill his “not a bluff” threat, then the world & along with Russia will be doomed.

            (1) The amt of just one nuclear bomb cost millions of lives & subsequent sufferings fr its effects. It’ll not just be Ukrainians loosing their lives, but the neigboring Russians. Read abt how much more powerful current nuclear weapons hv developed & the much vast devastation it’ll cause then the Hiroshima bomb. Europe will not want it. Not Finland, not Austria, not Poland, not Germany, not even China.

            (2) Even for the rest of Asia not hit by the nuclear, we WILL SUFFER. It’ll cause burren land, food shortages. The atmosphere or may I clarify stratosphere will be covered with dark clouds & no sunlight can reach our motherland for photosynthesis.

Singapore WILL suffer coz every suppliers we currently import food from other countries will not be exporting to us. We can’t grow anything for ourselves even with 30/30 established.

I can’t imagine the unease it’ll cause for every country & every human lives. Ppl will protect & it’ll not just be coz of Truss, Marcron or Scholz or even Trump (if he does return to the White House). This is call The Last Days.

Ukraine war IS NOT just their war. IT IS NOT just European‘s concerns, but the entire world’s concern.

If Putien were to start the nuclear war, 5 billion people globally will die. Can wipe out more than half of humanity. The whole atmosphere will be darkened with soot, hard for sunlight to penetrate through. Photosynthesis cannot take place, plants cannot \"manufacture\" nor produce food. Global famine, everywhere. Lots of suffering upon this earth, in many countries, including Singapore.

                      I quote:
                      \"Fear cuts deeper than swords.\" (GOT fans 😉 )

Here's a follow up attributed to a once good friend of the USA:
\"It's the rich you can terrorize. The poor have nothing to lose.\"

The West won't mind Ukraine dying or Russia dying, as long as it's everyone else but them. The threat of a nuclear option, however, changes everything. It is more powerful than the nuclear option itself. Interesting to see how the conversation has now changed. That said, it won't come to that. Europe has shown that it is more than capable of imploding without the use of a nuclear bomb.

Besides, General Winter is coming. Why waste ammunition when a more powerful force will take care of everything. As for mankind, it will come to an end, one way or another. Electing stupid leaders, unfortunately, is hastening the process.
