        Abbreviation:
IIRC - If I Recall (or Remember) Correctly
        VFX - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Visual_effects

In terms of \"where else to go\", it's pretty much the same as per any area of interest / study:
        1. ITE - example ITE's https://www.ite.edu.sg/courses/course-finder/course/higher-nitec-in-visual-effects
        2. Polytechnic - example NYP and TP
        3. Local University - example NTU's School of Art, Design and Media, SUSS' School of Science and Technology

If you are looking overseas, there are specialised colleges like Germany's https://www.filmakademie.de/en/ and USA's Gnomon - https://www.gnomon.edu (which is right in the heart of Hollywood).

Last but not least, there's always the 'learn-it-yourself' and 'express-yourself' route.

Learn-it-yourself - You can buy industry grade software such as Adobe After Effects and play around with it, or you can download https://www.blender.org for free.
Express-yourself - YouTube, vimeo, etc. like this guy:

I think it’s nearly impossible and probably unreliable to come up with any estimates for % for AI Analytics grads (or any polytechnic graduates) furthering their studies in uni.

First, there’s an issue of timeframe. Unlike A Level students, poly grads have a couple of extra options after graduating:
            1. Straight to work and won’t bother about uni because there isn’t a need (good pay, good prospects)
            2. Straight to work but taking on PT uni programme at the same time
            3. Straight to work but taking on PT / FT uni programme at a much later stage (could be 1, 3 or even years later)
            4. Straight to uni

There is also a question of which uni. If you are only looking at local universities, there will probably be a reliable % of how many poly grads in each cohort. However, that data usually don’t take into account their adult learners (aka overage students) who are, more often than not, poly grads. Poly grads have probably more options and flexibility in considering overseas universities (additional credits off) since they don’t have the pressure of starting university’s studies immediately as a number of them have relatively decent starting salary (can start work - earn - pay for uni later, or even switch course of study).

Where can I find which are the poly courses accepted by local uni e.g. NTU?

Which engineering courses (Bioeng vs EEE) are eligible to apply EE course in NTU direct entry to 2nd year?

If the student (likely to take up engineering) is unlikely to score As in A level, is it more practical to choose poly engineeering course to get into local uni NTU, though the indicative grade profile at 10percentile for EEE is not too high at CCC/D.

Asking on behalf on someone else

                https://www.ntu.edu.sg/education/undergraduate-programme/bachelor-of-engineering-in-electrical-and-electronic-engineering-%28eee%29#admission

Polytechnic Diploma holders or Final Year students with relevant diplomas from a local polytechnic in Singapore will be considered for direct entry into the second year.

The list of acceptable diplomas is available at here (refer link below).

                https://www.ntu.edu.sg/admissions/undergraduate/admission-guide/diploma-awarded-by-a-polytechnic-or-equivalent-institution-in-singapore

                1) If you have a Diploma with Merit or Diploma with Distinction, you may apply for any programme in NTU, regardless of your diploma (except for LKCMedicine Programme).

                2) Interactive List of Relevant Diploma
Click here to find out more information on the programmes that you can apply for based on your diploma.
Note: please use the link in the NTU website above.

For NTU Electrical and Electronic Engineering, the IGP 10th Percentile for Poly GPA is 3.45. I think the criteria is much higher for course exemptions/direct entry Year 2 --> refer link https://www.ntu.edu.sg/eee/admissions/programmes/undergraduate-programmes/course-exemptions-%28eee%29

The student has to achieve the necessary grades via A Level or Poly. Aptitude-based Admissions (ABA) application is available but it is also subject to a minimum level of academic competence.

I think it is better for him/her to choose which curriculum he/she finds more suitable/interesting?

                All the best.

Between SP EEE vs NP Ece, which course is harder? Which is more competitive? More sought after?

Anyone who is in the course or has graduated can share?

NYP has sent out the shortlist emails, need to book interview date and upload portfolio.

TP has sent out acknowledgement email and stated shortlisted candidates will receive email 10 to 13 July 2023.
