      The problem is…
PHV and Taxi also require COE to purchase. The cost to purchase such vehicles will ultimately be passed on back to the consumer,
Yes, but we no need to pay a huge amount of COE to the government first. If we only take PHV and Taxi occasionally, it won't cost much to us.

I eat a mixture; eg this time eat better rice, next round would be the cheaper version.

I think this is in direct competition with the Trust card (which has ganged up with Linkpoints and Fairprice). I'll stick with the Trust card as I buy much more from Fairprice than CS, Giant, Guardian et al.

Thx for sharing. I went to check becos we happen to eat the Songhe one.

Even after the 15% discount, Sheng Siong is still cheaper. What more got additional seniors discount. To beat inflation, shop at SS save the most money.

Bought a bottle of Vitamin B at NTUC Unity. After discount, I paid $37.50. Walked out, I found that the next door Guardian Pharmacy is selling the same thing at $35 after discount.

                        Call me a cheapo.
When you see a doc at the polyclinic and ask fot Vit B, it would be relatively cheap.

                        Same for panadol ...
