Whatever it is pandemic or endemic - try your best not to catch this Covid 19 Virus. It is not an experience that we could proud of.
Question

      If that's the case,
how can government expect Spore to live with COVID, relaxing the mask or dining rules ?

I myself, Zac's Mum and Mr. Clumsy have already taken the bivalent shot. Why you still have to wait?
Adults only or your children taken the shot as well?

The bivalent vaccine is not available to teens and kids yet. So only u and hubs will be able to receive it. My 11-year-old received his 3rd dose in nov. Your DD2 should take up the offer too.

Strongly advised to get boosted before any overseas trip.

The Moderna bivalent booster was ok for me, unlike my first 2 Moderna main doses (awful headaches and tiredness).

I woke up this morning feeling OK. A bit of soreness in my arm, which was expected. Decided to go for a chill morning walk. Came back, had brekkie and realized that a fever was coming on. A mild one, but also not unexpected. Feeling alright, generally. Still disappointed that I've yet to develop x-ray vision or some superhuman power but I guess I'll settle for smaller blessings.

My primary vaccines were Pfizer and I went for a Moderna booster which was r o u g h (like Zac's Mum). Given that this current booster is from Moderna/Spikevax, I'm still expecting some amount of pain. Hopefully not though but as with all things, we do our best to survive.

I heard that the Pfizer bivalent booster may be out later this year but I'm keen to get boosted ahead of the upcoming school holidays. Having done and endured Moderna before, I figured why not this 'round again šŸ™‚

All my previous 4 jabs are Pfizer but with this modena as my 5th jab, no side effects, can work, can play and can sleep well.

                        Different people different reactions.

For most even if there is some discomfort, it is bearable. But there are a few who had more severe reactions. One of my staff developed severe rashes that kept her up at night and she was almost crying in frustration. My masseuse refuses to go for the bivalent and will not allow her son to take the bivalent booster. Her husband went for the bivalent booster and ended up in ICU for 10 days and at 1 point it was touch and go, doctors told them to prepare and get all family members down. Luckily he pulled through.

So for those who see their family members or friends have severe reactions, they will tend to be more resistant to taking the bivalent. Also those with allergies or adverse reactions to certain drugs will be more cautious and they should be as the vaccine is almost as new as the latest variant and we are not fully sure of what are the long term effects.
