Thank you!
Yes, HCL Pass will rank ahead of no HCL for SAP school posting (for the same total AL score in the four main subjects).
Good luck! -

Thank you!
Yes there will be priority for pass in HCL as well
And the HCL advantage will apply before other tie breakers like citizenship and order of choice comes in
All the best!

How’s the general feel on the grounds? Hopefully people can share. This will help parents determine how to choose the schools and if last year cop is indicative or not thanks.

Dear all kiasu masters, first and foremost
Congratulations for receiving PSLE results today,
hope everyone is happy with their results :rahrah:
My DD got AL 8
Her school choices are
Nanyang Girls COP’21 =7
CHIJ St Nicholas (IP) COP’21 =7
CHIJ St Nicholas (Exp) COP’21 =9
SCGS COP’21 =8
MGS COP’21 =7
Cedar girls COP’21 =8
What do you think of these choices are they too confident choices or still worth trying?
(My DD status is foreigner, no HCL)
How to strategies and rank the priorities on these 6 high profiles girl schools?
Let’s say all these 6 schools don’t accept her, then what will happen?
Need some enlightment here ^_^ pls help -
bbpinksg,
Assuming that this year 2022 COP is the same as last year 2021 COP, then,
based on your above 6 choices, MOE will post your daughter (foreigner status) into …
St Nick (O level).
Try not to let your mind wander …
Which school is Moe going to post my daughter to, if she doesnt … ?
Instead,
choose your #6 school such that
her last choice #6, should be
(2 to 3) points below your daughter’s AL 8, so that this last school will be able to catch her.
In other words, choose a Secondary school whose COP is AL (10 or 11), that kind. Should not be identical to your girl’s AL 8, exactly on the dot so risky, so that she don’t be trapped, no room to manovere around.
Remember.
Her last choice school, is the most crucial ! Must be able to catch her, no matter what happen, no matter whether this year the COP is going to move up or move down by 1 or 2 points, for that school u are interested in. -
Hi, DS got total score 19. We are staying around Hougang/Sengkang area.
we are looking at Compassvale, SengKang, Northvista, Montfort, Yuying, Beatty & Pierce as part of the 6 choices. Distance and CCA are key consideration.
any kind souls can advise on the schools or choices please. All views are welcomed. -
Does anyone have the link? A friend tried to register but had issues- didn’t receive the link for the webinar. I did a test reg but also didn’t receive. Can anyone share?

I am currently an SCGS girl who entered scgs last year with a AL of 7. To be honest, it would be quite difficult for your DD to get into NYGH, considering the fact that the COP may stay the same. Last year, I tried for NYGH with 7(D) but was balloted out. However, it is highly possible for your DD to come to SCGS. Many of my o level schoolmates had an AL of 8, and even some of those in ip. Thus, i just wanted to tell you that it is worth a try! Hope everything works out for your DD and all the best!
