After receiving the Sec 1 posting results released between 21 Dec and 23 Dec 2022, students should refer to their posted schools' websites for more information such as the reporting details, booklist, and purchase of books and uniforms. Parents of the incoming S1 cohort who are on Parents Gateway (PG) will also receive instructions from the posted schools from the afternoon the S1 Posting results are released.

If you have a DSA CO, you can try calling the General Office to see if you can collect it earlier (especially if your family is out of town late Dec).

I understand that many girls are taking HCL in Y1, although offered, we may not take it up.
Just curious if there’s only 1 class of CL for previous years?

I don't have the latest info but it is safe to say majority take HMT.

Do note that if the student does not take HCL (HMT), she has to take CL in JC (Year 5).

Just giving another line of thought. Sometimes teachers and peers can make a difference. Can consider starting with HCL first as does not need to take CL in JC if she achieves a certain grade (I think D7 or better). But of course if she is very certain, then opt for CL from the start if the school allows it :roll:

Hello parents. Kept seeing “Gap semester” for RI only but not in RGs. May I check if there is something similar /equivalent for RGS or is it just exclusive to RI? Thanks

Dd says we don’t have gap semester. It is exclusive to RI.

We have 3 classes of girls taking a mixture of CL/HCL/HML within each of these 3 classes.
