      Hi,
May I know from which year onwards does RGS start prepping for A levels? Do they only start prepping in Y5-6 or they start in Y3-4?
Trying to understand the advantage that the IP track have over the regular Express track of O Levels / A Levels.
      Thanks in advance!
They start preparing for A levels in Y5-6, like everyone else. The benefit of the IP track is a bit more freedom to design a syllabus that doesn't stick strictly to the O level syllabus, and the many months of revision for O levels can be used as additional curriculum/activity time.

One of the biggest advantage of IP track is that your child has a guaranteed place in the affiliated’s JC as long as they meet the minimum passing criteria in Y4.

Hello parents. Kept seeing “Gap semester” for RI only but not in RGs. May I check if there is something similar /equivalent for RGS or is it just exclusive to RI? Thanks

Based on last year COP. Chances are to go through ballot. Good chance if you’re a Singaporean. 😃

No harm trying and all the best.

After receiving the Sec 1 posting results (to be released between 21 Dec and 23 Dec 2022), students should refer to their posted schools' websites for more information such as the reporting details, booklist, and purchase of books and uniforms. Parents of the incoming S1 cohort who are on Parents Gateway (PG) will also receive instructions from the posted schools from the afternoon the S1 Posting results are released.

If you have a DSA CO, you can try calling the General Office to see if you can collect it earlier (especially if your family is out of town late Dec).

                      All the best.
