        Hi doodbug,

your son or daughter in JC2, also doing H3, in which subject ?
How many students are taking the same H3 subject, as him (her) ?
Apology to continue in this thread, just to reply. She s doing H3 Lit although she is doing 3 other H2 science. Strange I thought but she said H3 Lit is easier to do, no need to attend lesson, OTOT (own time own target) . LIT H3 is v low number, amidst other subjects. Total H3 students for her JC is about 80.

oh, MOE H3 Literature is research-based! Hence OTOT. MOE H3 History is similar - also research based.

Hello doodbug, kimkar, if you don't mind, may I know, for the H3 mentors of English Literature & History, are they university professors or JC teachers? Thank you

For my kid's JC, the H3 mentors for History H3 are JC teachers.

There are three types of H3s:

                    a. University-taught H3 programmes (NUS, NTU and SMU)
                    b. Extended, in-depth research (SRP, NRP, NTU-A*STAR-HCI and HSSR)
                    c. MOE-CAMBRIDGE H3, taught in-house in schools

I was referring to c, i.e. MOE-Cambridge H3 for History or Literature - these are guided by JC teachers
HSSRP will belong to category b.
