What assurance package? But we received $100 angpow fm ah gong when checked our acct 😂
Those who own more than 1 property or had more than $100K assessable income (AI) in 2021 got $100. The amounts range up to a total of $700 for those who own up to 1 property and whose AI less. Both my girls got the full $700 as they only started work towards the end of 2021.

The festive celebrations have begun for me. Seem to be more gatherings this year. Maybe cos I am staying put instead of heading overseas, I get to join most of the gatherings and even host a couple. Past few years, though we could not travel, we could not exactly gather either or organise big gatherings. So most of us only gathered with our families. This year, it's like gathering with a vengeance. Everyone is organising something. Friends and I were saying good chance to clear all the wine and liquor that have been languishing in all our cabinets and wine fridges for the last few years and now that we can travel, we can start stocking up again for next year. 😉

Been a few years since I hosted any gatherings for more than 10 people at home. Tiring affair. Or maybe energy level is really going down with age. Unable to multitask as efficiently as before.
Things are back to normal for me - 1 gathering for each side of the family. Also a few invitations from friends but spread out - one this weekend, one ong Boxing Day, and another at NY. I'm not hosting anything!

Wow, both your girls have extra money this year! How are they spending it or saving for rainy days? We all got our 100 and am happy with it. Easily gone within the next grocery trip.

Not just these handouts - they will get the public sector bonus plus the 13th month as well! Some of it will come to us parents (our 'tax'!) and my husband has suggested that they spread out some of it over a few months, to increase the amount they invest monthly. They will use some of it for Christmas presents and parties, I expect.

And they will get another inflow of cash at CNY!

Wow, your agent very nice. Our agent gave us Swensen’s voucher for the first 8 years… after our policy is fully paid up then, he sort of disappeared.
