And how does that help you if it is not an original essay written by you, assuming you are a student? :? You can get through homework assignment but would still hit an issue during the exam. Also, for those exams that are submitted as an assignment and not required to write under an exam condition, cheating can occur with such AI help available. Of course cheating can occur even now but it's a bit harder, so there is at least some impedance. Just my 2 cents worth on \"not exactly useful\" inventions from a wider perspective.

For lazy students like me and my brother who are already \"thick-skinned\", exam? not an issue...just fail it....so what?.

At least it should be useful to me when my boss ask me to prepare and submit a report on some work related issues now.

You have to own the rights to the AI software. Maybe there will be AI to manage AI, and humans will become redundant.

Since many years back we been reading/hearing some of our jobs may be taken over by AI. Some will make our lives more convenient no doubt … just hope we human always more advanced/useful so that we can still hv a job to pay for our bills.

The thing is we are all not born equal. Being advanced/useful can sometimes even be a difficult task for some people.
While it is a good idea to take away menial tasks, sometimes such tasks are essential to cater to a group of people who need to do something to find themselves useful to the society and be identified as part of the community and they would feel more satisfying that they can earn their own keeps despite their \"handicap\" in certain areas.

I hope our humanity would make us do the right thing and use AI in the right way. This talk of AI overtaking is not just talk as progress has been made in bigger ways in recent years in the area of AI.
