Thanks for sharing. Good to know that there are lockers in every classroom for use. For things like books and stationeries, it makes sense to put them under their desk. But after PE and after the kids changed back to uniform, I would think it will be good to keep the PE shirt with all the perspiration in the locker than under their desk. If everybody simply put those under their desk, the classroom probably will have a funny smell. Maybe I'm thinking too much..haha.

Are the classrooms locked when not in use? I vaguely recall seeing keypads outside classrooms which I assume that only students in that class has the access codes.
I went to ask my boy. Each classroom has a lock with unique password. They can set it to unlock from inside and supposed to lock the classroom when they leave the room e.g. for PE lessons.

It’s in the letter from MOE that we get on PSLE results day. If your child has it, it’s stated there. Then, long as you enter IS schools, should be auto.

                      How
to maintain this MOE (ESIS) scholarship award,
                      for Year (2, 3, 4, 5 and 6), in an Independent school ?

                      Does it mean that
                      come to the end of Year (1, 2, 3, 4 and 5),
students must remain inside Top 10% of entire cohort, then is auto renewed ?
Otherwise, students have to pay the fees, themselves?
What is the criteria, to remain inside this ESIS award, every year, until graduation time ?

The letter from MOE didn’t mention much but from what I heard from my friend, it’s awarded for 6 years, no need to remain inside top 10%.

Below extracted from MOE, not sure what is considered good progress.

Students are awarded the ESIS for:
4 years, if they are in the O-Level programme.
6 years, if they are in the 6-year programme.
This is subject to their good progress and conduct each year.
