ya, the weather is more and more unpredictable...

for small kids, kite flying is big fun for them...
and i ve been to Marina Barrage about 2 or 3 yrs ago during its opening, so crowded at that time....
Not true that kite flying is only fun for small kids. Think it is a very nice activity enjoyed by both young and old.

Marina Barrge is still crowded, especially up on the field area.

Haha, I know what you mean! When we were there on Vesak Day, my husband and son were the ones starring at the sky, while I was guarding the food on the picnic mats, definitely a much easier job!

              Hi maid,

I saw the big shade you mentioned but yesterday we went at avtime not hot so we were too lazy to walk until the shade n just settled down at a spot quickly to fly the kite. But if we go on hot sunny day we now know where to chiong to.

Our princess mermaid from SKP but not every branch still has stock so anyone wants to buy better call the branch to ask first. We bought the smallest string holder n the screw is filmsy, maybe I shud hv bought the mid size cos they said small kid use the small one.

Actually flying the kite is tiring, kids need alot of strength, so parents need to help especially when need to control the kite.

Hyperkiasu, tree nymph, shud go w family, very good for mind n body.

Actually most of the pictures were taken by my dd because I was busy helping her control the kite n she just loved snapping away. Her body strength not enough to fly for long.

Thanks for telling me kites originated from China. πŸ™‚

So you know where to go the next time you need a little shade, right?

Thanks the kite is nice to me, but not to my son! Too girlish for him! So don't need to call to check on stock status πŸ˜“ but thought would be nice to know where you bought it from.

I think our string holder is the medium size one, didn't give us any problem. Yours is blue or brown? Ours is blue.

I know what you mean, that's why I preferred to guard the food as opposed to starring into the sky! Luckily there was my husband to help my son stare into the sky that day! πŸ˜‰

Heng ah! πŸ˜“ Better to start off with one first till your child is able to manage on her own.
