Hi, DS will be joining ACSP as a new P4 GEP student this year. We’re not in any WA group chat yet so wanted to ask if the boys are supposed to wear their yellow Corporate t-shirt on their first day of school on 4 Jan since it’s a Wednesday? TIA!

          Going forward into year 2030,

another 7 more years from today (2023)

ACS primary is turning co-ed, so girls can study in this primary school too,

no need to so desperately join MGS primary (Bukit Timah)

          And

NO need to buy anymore condo less than 1 km, from the current location in city area

          Because

ACS (Primary) to move from Barker Road to Tengah and become a co-ed school from 2030

Instead, parents can shift nearer to Tengah

ACS primary girls get affiliation to MGS?
that will depend on what is the actual definition of this so called ACS primary girls. Now is still vague !

                1) if the definition refer to MGS girls as ACS primary girls in partnership, then no issue

                But

                2) if the definition exclude MGS girls, then Is a brand new issue.

Is MGS willing to accommodate these new group of girls as part of their affliation culture? This is something MGS school have to consult their higher up, including the Methodist church denomination authority, as well as the

                  This is for sure.

From what I know, the ACS (Primary) Parent Support Group has been lobbying for an additional ACS (Primary) location for quite some time.

students born in 2017 or earlier, will not be impacted by this move because

students born in 2017 will be the last batch to take PSLE in 2029, at the current school location (city area).

                      However,
those born in 2018 will be impacted because they will be the FIRST batch of P6 students, to take their PSLE in Tengah.

MOE also announced that ACS (Primary) at Barker Road will be consolidated with ACS Junior School at Winstedt Road in 2033. “The reconfigured ACS(J) will then operate from both campuses before shifting all operations to Barker around 2039,” says MOE.

“In planning for the setting up and relocation of schools, MOE takes into account the current and projected population, as well as planned housing development programmes, in order to ensure sufficient school places for our population,” the ministry says.
