Thanks dear. DS has always been a short-distance sprinter, no long-distance stamina. But i just came back from a 1km run with him, so far seems ok, i was panting but he could still talk throughout and not breathless. I think needs faster pace lol.[/quote]
Good to hear yr young man hv good stamina. Can build on it. Don’t hurry the process. Stretching a & warming up exercises are impt. DS do a lot of it but DH not enuf.

At the hawker centre next to Si ma lu temple, there is a fish all noodle stall with long queue in the morning. Anyone tried and is it really worth the wait? With like 20 people in the queue, I reckon the queuing time is at least 1hr?

Anyways, best of luck and look forward to Oct!
Thank you! Actually, it is my kid (& her classmates) who suffers certain amounts of self-induced stress (not me haha, & not from me hoho), cos the besties hope to progress on to the same schools; I'm just there to help defuse the stresses & do some 'precognition' ✌️

So boring today as continue discussion on the ranking of schools.....ok, Hi all sisters here, why not we just nominate the ranking of our DH?? You can claim your DH is the top 5 of the best DH in Singapore! No worry, I will not confront with anyone because I nominate my DH to be the worst or the last one in the ranking and can let go anytime. Any nomination?? 😀

I’m not perfect myself, so I’m sure DH s’times will find me a pain to deal with. When it’s anything to do with tech or photography & the like (aka his hobbies & favourite topics), I find it a pain but accept it as our differences. When in comes to cooking, gardening, managing ppl & bosses, he is more likely to admit I’ve more subj-matter-expertise tho not perfect. Juang lah. If I’ve expected to hv a perfect couple relationship, I wld probably not hv married lor.

I don’t really like rankings - it assumes that every person values the same things, in the same order of preference. I guess I’m too independent to want to be considered the same as everyone else in terms of likes and dislikes. Sometimes, I’m just different (or weird, depending on opinion). Which is why I think squabbling over small differences between schools, based on one criteria alone, is just plain silly!

As for my husband, I can just say that we’re like old shoes - got comfortable with each other’s idiosyncrasies, and can’t imagine a different one! We’ve been married over 35 yrs now…

I do use ranking as a priority or preference.

I do too - but I will use other people's rankings for reference only, and don't impose my rankings on others. I don't assume that other people will rank things in exactly the same way as each person's priorities and preferences will differ, which is why I feel that arguing over these is rather pointless.
