Yes, do any first degree with good results and try Duke-NUS, that's the longer route as Duke-NUS is only a graduate course. You can also try to get an early admission before completing the degree but read up the details in Duke-NUS site for the pre-requisites.

“Farrah plans to read medicine through the Yale-NUS and Duke-NUS liberal arts and medicine pathway.

Students who take this route will attain a Bachelor of Science Honours or Bachelor of Arts Honours degree at Yale-NUS College, followed by a Doctor of Medicine degree at Duke-NUS Medical School.”

Getting into BSc or BA doesn’t need 2 sciences.

I recall when attending the online open house in 2022, the Principal made a brief mention that they can and do make certain exceptions in the Y5-6 (ie the IBDP years) if a student wants to drop their art form (for those 2 years) to take HL Bio. I think there is some flexibility there.

BUT do check with them directly. I was only half paying attention since I was at a noisy shopping mall waiting for my kid’s enrichment class & listening thru earpods while walking around trying to find a less noisy spot!

It may be possible. But for planning our future, I wouldn't bank on my ability to impress the principal.

I normally try to think......it it could go wrong, it will.

In a normal world, that probably means......we can discuss, but you must do what I tell you / already told you
