Oh, thank you!!
Just bought uniform today. White/light colour better. The white shorts are kind of thin and dark colour underwear does show through..
I still havent gone to get uniform. Got to go these few days.
Oh what about socks, do we get any kind? -

They do give option to buy socks in book shop not uniform shop, it's part of book checklist, but was told it's just plain white socks so don't really have to buy from them.

Hi, can I know more about SJI’s various tracks - I am abit confused.
There is olevel track and IP track and IB diploma track. So there are in total 3 different tracks?
How are the performance for these various tracks? Anyone can advise please? Thanks!! -

Not 3.
You are mistaken.
1)
In Singapore,
There are 2 different type of IP.
Both IB and A-level, are also known as \"IP\".
A)
The first type of IP programme, is called A-level, whereby students bypassed national O-level exam.
Eg.
students studying
IP-A-level curriculum inside
(RI / Hwa Chong / Dunman High / Temasek / Eunoia / National / Victoria / River Valley High ) Junior College. Yes, all these students in these named JCs, are studying IP programme. But, their IP programme, is for the A-level type.
B)
The second type of IP program, is called \" IB \", which is offered at both SJI and ACSI.
Example
- if your kid is PSLE (aged 12), your kid can join IB (SJI), or join IB (ACS Independent),
in Sec 1. Their admission Cut off point, is based on their overall PSLE AL marking scheme.
- But,
if your kid is older,
at Sec 4 (aged 16), your kid can also join IB (SJI), or join IB (ACS Independent), after sitting for their O level exam.
Their admission Cut off point, is based on their O-level L1R5 NETT score.
Example
This year 2023 ACS Independent Cut off point, was somewhere around 5 points, nett (L1R5) ?
2) the O-Level track, is the familiar one which many of us grew up in and graduated from, donkey years ago. -
If you are a year 5 or year 6 student aged (17 or 18) studying here -
Which tuition centre(s) in Singapore have a lot of SJI students going there, for tuition in
IB year 5 & IB year 6
( Chemistry / Business Studies ) ?
Humanities subject is compulsory, in IB (Year 5 and 6) -
Hi Parents, would like to find out if anyone's kid got in thru DSA (Basketball)? Does the kid have to meet those criteria stated in their DSA admission page? Does all the applicants get a chance for the trial or only selected ones (those meeting the criteria) would get shortlisted for the trial? Thanks in advance.

hi parents, just wondering if anyone know the intake number for DSA through innovation? I understand that the innovation CCA is only offered to students who got in through DSA. Wondering how many students are enrolled in this CCA each year? Thank you in advance!

Does anyone know how many boys from the O level program transferred into the IP program in year 3 in recent years? For those who have successfully transferred, what is the typical range of year 1 grades ?
