Of course there will be academic requirements. They will look at your Sec 3 and Sec 4 report card, your overall L1R5
I thought maybe like Primary school, AL20 can already.. haha.. any where to check cut off? Acjc seem like a good choice, EJC too, for hockey.

Yep, B and C division hockey girls are mostly from Crescent, St Theresa's convent and SNGS.. they feed into EJC, VJ, ACJC, RI (DSA).

Do share if you have hockey DSA experience. Thanks!

I wonder why there is a separate Phase 1 and Phase 2 for DSA to JC. Like 2 chances to try (for those schools which participate in both phases).

When I compared the list of schools which participate in Phase 1 only, vs those which participate in both phases, it seems that IP JCs are the ones which participate in Phase 1 only. And yet, NJC is the exception which participates in both.

Anyone can shed some light on this?

I went to see the moe jc dsa page. NJC national junior college does not participate in P2.

For Sec 4 Dsa into JC, is different from that of primary schools.

Whether is Phase 1 or 2, is all about the timing. Can refer to that moe document. It depends on the timing of your submission of DSA documents.

                  Under Phase 1 DSA -
It doesn't mean that the early bird catches the worm, just bec u are kiasu, submit your DSA form first before any others. You can be rejected in the end of the whole DSA.

For those who applied under Phase 2, is just that u applied later, but u can still be successful, in the end.

Whether u applied at Phase 1 or 2, your outcome will only be known, at the end of the whole DSA process over.

                  Note

Those applicants who are not so good at end of Phase 1, they will not notify u at end of Phase 1 yet. The jc will wait until close to Phase 2 is over, then see what to do with u

The student can still apply for a school participating in Phase 2 if student has:

~ Missed the Phase 1 application.
~ Did not receive or accept an offer after your Phase 1 application.

Schools in Phase 2 has more DSA vacancy as they are non IP.

Oh, not that.. phase 1 has all the JC schools doing DSA. Just that, phase 2 still has some schools (non ip) left for round 2 if you miss the application phase 1 or didn’t get offered or accept any offers.
