Looking forward to more great recommendation from u in your blog 😄

Oh... abt the 小甜甜 comics, i used to hear how popular it was when i was younger too. Hee.. mayb i shld go search for it now!!

Btw, u have mentioned abt getting DVDs from dangdang, any luck? Have u received your goods from them?
      kids_r_innocent,
I will be going to China to work for 5 weeks later this year. I plan to buy when I am in China, it costs only RMB 33 for 4 DVDs.

小甜甜 comics is out of print, if I can find new copies I will buy a set. I have the complete series but these are so precious to me, I don't even let my girl touch the books !

I have ordered some books from Dangdang and it was probably a month since I was notified that the books have been sent out to me. However, till now, I still have not received the books. Has anyone ever had to wait this long to get their books?

        Busymom,
dangdang states that it takes about 4 to 8 weeks. For my recent orders, I received after 4 or 5 weeks.

Thanks, tamarind, for your reply. Hopefully, will get the books soon.

In fact, I placed another order (for different books) at about the same time as the first order. For that order, till today, the status is still 等待审核 after more than a month... really getting a bit anxious as dangdang has already acknowledged receipt of payment, but I never received any email to verify my credit card numbers. :?

            Busymom,
Did you use Citibank or Amex ?

I used DBS Amex to place an order on 22 Jun 2010, today the status is 正在配货.

There was once I also did not receive the email to verify my CC, I sent them an email to ask them. Also note that their email may end up in the spam/junk mail folder.

                Thanks for the recommendation.

I ordered from dangdang for the 1st time recently using citibank cc. It takes 3 wks just to get the stock ready. Still waiting for the stock arrival. I intend to order again and I do hope it'll be faster for my 2nd order.

                  je,

Seems like it takes much longer for Citibank. I used DBS Amex to order last Tuesday, it is shipped out today.

I just received 2 big boxes of books from dangdang. Now the average waiting time after the books are shipped out is about 4 to 5 weeks.

The stories are so hilarious that I enjoy watching them too 😉 . The song is also very catchy. DS1 has been humming the tune now and then. All in all, highly recommended for pre-school kids like mine.

Thk You for sharing, mummy of 2!!! Thank you for posting the links too. 😄

You are welcome. If you are getting the DVDs/books, hope your kids will enjoy them too. The books are such a hit that DS1 will actually sit down and look at them on his own, without asking me to read, unlike for other books.

You can consider using Daigou service, but the shipping charges and fees are very high (> price of the books). I got my order in less than 2 weeks.
