              For Sec 4 O-level students,

              during this June school holiday,

apart from going back to school for extended curriculum lessons, to gear up for O-level starting in Sept onwards,
if you still have the time -

you may want to download free of charge from Internet, some of these other Secondary schools' Sec 4 Prelim papers to further practise, on different subject(s) :-

              1) Pure Chemistry (other schools' Sec 4 Prelim)

              https://www.testpapersfree.com/secondary/olevel/?level=O-level&year=%25&subject=Pure-Chemistry&type=Prelims&school=%25&Submit=Show+Test+Papers

              2) Pure Biology (other schools' Sec 4 Prelim)

              https://www.testpapersfree.com/secondary/olevel/?level=O-level&year=%25&subject=Pure-Biology&type=Prelims&school=%25&Submit=Show+Test+Papers

              3) Pure Physics (other schools' Sec 4 Prelim)

              https://www.testpapersfree.com/secondary/olevel/?level=O-level&year=%25&subject=Pure-Physics&type=Prelims&school=%25&Submit=Show+Test+Papers

              4) Additional Maths (other schools' Sec 4 Prelim)

              https://www.testpapersfree.com/secondary/olevel/?level=O-level&year=%25&subject=A-Maths&type=Prelims&school=%25&Submit=Show+Test+Papers

              5) Elementary Maths (other schools' Sec 4 Prelim)

              https://www.testpapersfree.com/secondary/olevel/?level=O-level&year=%25&subject=E-Maths&type=Prelims&school=%25&Submit=Show+Test+Papers

              6) English (other schools' Sec 4 Prelim)

              https://www.testpapersfree.com/secondary/olevel/?level=O-level&year=%25&subject=English&type=Prelims&school=%25&Submit=Show+Test+Papers

              7) for Humanities, different students pick (choose) different Humanities subject, to specialise in.

Thus, you may want to google yourself independently, to download the Prelim papers from Internet.

All Sec 4 O-level students, note.

                  Three years ago,
due to Wuhan covid virus that broke out in that dreadful, turn-of-a-new decade year 2020,
which caused much panic, pain, suffering, sorrow & death to the whole world globally + lockdown continued into year 2021,

that common last topic on \"Organic Chemistry\" was removed,
not tested inside SEAB \"6092\" Pure Chemistry O-level syllabus.

                  But,
how about this year (2023) ?

SEAB HAS put back topic \"Organic Chemistry\",
                  to be included for testing.
                  Refer exam code \"6092\".

                  Turn to page 21, 22.

Can u see that \"Organic Chemistry\" is INCLUDED for testing, this year ?

                  https://www.seab.gov.sg/home/examinations/gce-o-level/o-level-syllabuses-examined-for-school-candidates-2023

                  \"Organic Chemistry\",
                  to be included for testing,
cover the following areas (aspects) :-

                  - Fuel & crude oil

                  - Alkane
                  - Alkene
                  - Alcohol

                  - Macromolecules
                  - Carboxylic acids

                      The same,

                      happened to E-Maths subject.

                      Two years ago (2021),
SEAB removed testing of topic \"Vectors\".

                      This year (2023),
SEAB HAS put back \"Vectors\", to test.

can refer to O-level Elementary Maths syllabus, below.
Look for exam subject code, \"4052\".

                      Turn to page 10.

                      Can you see that
                      topic
                      \"Vectors\" is INCLUDED, for testing (2023) ?

just want to alert Sec 4 students, who are taking subject Pure Biology (6093) SPA (Science Practical Assesment), during O-level.

                        For SPA (Bio),
anything can come out under the sun, to be tested.

In one past year, during the hands on Practical lab-work for Pure Bio O-level, students were given instructions to cut sweet potato.

                        What happened ?

The sweet potato was really too hard.

Injuries across other Secondary schools happened too inside the lab, during actual Practical O level (Bio) exam. Some students ended up went to clinic, because they had cut themselves accidentally, while trying to cut the sweet potato.

So, is good to practise at home first, how to handle, cut a potato or a sweet potato, to gain first hand experience.
                        In case
sometimes during regular Term time school based lab Practical session (lesson), only the Teacher who demonstrated the Bio experiment herself was the only one who cut the sweet potato / potato, but the class of rest of the 20+ students actually never directly hands-on at all, never cut before, but merely sat in front of the Bio class Teacher on a bench inside the lab, to listen, to observe the experiment & to learn (study) the scientific concept taught.

SPA : Science Practical (hands on lab-work) Assessment
