I read through your attachments, they only say from 15 June onwards they will make contact. Doesn't say anything about by a certain date you don't receive means you are not shortlisted.
Common sense prevails. After 15 June they will contact the shortlisted. Lets say you apply for badminton. 26 June is the first trial date. If by 25 June you did not receive any email, then it means not shortlisted.

i'm curious the reason for schools to not put a cut-off date for their emails/letters for trials and interviews etc.
The only dateline that schools need to adhere to is the one set by MOE.

Schools may choose not to put a cut off date to retain some flexibility, such as to delay / extend their trials and interviews. Alternatively, schools can decide to hold additional trials after their first trial if they feel it’s necessary to engage or consider more students.

Ah the flexibility part makes sense. and thanks for replying without being condescending (the replies before yours) .

i was asking because i know of 2 cases where start dates of trials and auditions does not necessarily equate to the end of chance for those who has yet to receive notification; the applicants received notification days after trials began.

The cases that you know of could be due to “schools deciding to hold additional trials after their first trial because they feel it’s necessary to engage or consider more students.”

Unless the school specifically mentioned a cut off date, or send out a rejection email / mail, there’s always a chance, albeit faint.

Hi Fursati, can I check when did you receive the email? Keeping my fingers crossed for TJC another domain.

Has this happened before? Two similar schools having exam on the same day?
