      Hi Parents,

Welcome back to the start of Term 3.

The June hols was a good opportunity to recharge for a new term and also preparation for the BIG exam. I will be getting my son to revise his Science chapters like Diversity and Systems.

Your daughter is capable at a tender age of 8 to coerce you. HaHaHa.

I am soft-hearted. She did not take much effort. Haha. Lower Primary PlayFest! is a day of fun games and activities. It starts from 7am and ends at 10am. This year it will be held on 6th August (Fri). Booths are tended by teachers, parent volunteers and junior sports leaders. Requests were sent out to parents to volunteer.

Last year, I was still nursing my No. 3 so couldn't help out. She was a little disappointed.

                Hi all,

                what's \"Science Pratical Test\" about?

Science practical test constitutes 5% towards the overall SA2. It's worthwhile preparing for it as is quite easy to score. The test is either on one of the topics taught. No worries.

my son said his practical test is in week 6. so different from what the timetable indicated. :?

Hubby volunteered for Sports Fest and he came home ‘roasted’. On the whole, we do enjoy volunteering our time at the school.

Science practical test is on 8th July. Son told me it’s something to do with magnets.

                    Hi parents,

I’ve got 2 little princess. No.1 gal is due for p1 registration this jul. I’m undecided between pei Hwa and MGS. MGS has affiliation to sec, a big advantage. But from their registration history, most years wld hv balloting for even <1km.

                    Any experiences to share?

                    Hopeful

I am in the same boat as you...wanted so much to register my daughter in MGS but staying out of 1km. Balloting required even for those staying within 1km...so no chance. Thought of putting her on wait list, but understand it's very hard also.

This thread has been rather quiet since end June…mummies busy with little ones since Term 3 ?

Anyone here registering their little ones for P1 this year ? Phase 1 alone took up 176 places !!! With student intake cutting down and increased number of siblings taking up places, there will be a squeeze in near future in Phase 2C.
