Is your daughter from SCGS primary school ? That's why her cello Teacher know what's going on in detail, inside the SCGS Secondary school DSA selection panel ?

Hello everybody… my bad for not phrasing my message across properly.


DD’s teacher is not from SCGS and had nothing to do with the DSA selection panel.

She heard from her student who is in SCGS string ensemble that the audition has passed … the audition was Tues and Friday and her student happened to help out in the audition.

Hope this is clear. Sharing this piece of info for the sake of parents who are still anxiously waiting for emails.

Our application was rejected and heard from some parents that St Nicks typically shortlists head prefects, vice head prefects.

No. MOE doesn’t break down number of applicants per school. Occasionally, schools may share some bits of info during open houses.
