Sec 4 Graduation Ceremony party will be held on

            Thursday ( 16 November 2023 ) from

            6 pm to 10 pm,

at the popular hotel in Orchard road, outside of school premises.

For some other Secondary schools, they held it within their own school compound. But for us, the Sec 4 to-be-graduates prefer to gather outside the school compound.

This marks the end of their Sec 4 educational journey with school St Nick,
            before

they embark on their next forward Tertiary journey with Junior Colleges / IB Institutions of Higher learning / Polytechnic, overseas "Bridging" pre-university educational programme, etc.

Just for my own curiosity -

when kids receive CO for DSA via Leadership, do they automatically become prefects when they join the Secondary sch?

Do schools \"use\" their leadership talent/skill in any particular way or provide them with more leadership opportunities than usual ?
For P6 students who are successful for DSA into St Nick under \"Leadership\" domain, they can join a

Uniform group or a club that show care, love, empathy & concern to society / less privileged people around us. Yes, there will be opportunities to groom them to take up leadership position, within the school.

                    =============

                    We noticed that
people tend to buy very expensive gifts / presents, on festive occasions.
                    eg.

                    on birthdays,
                    during Christmas, etc.

                    1)
Do u think this practice in society, is bad ?

                    2) what are some disadvantages, u can think of ?

                    3) in your own personal opinion, how or what would u have done, instead ?

                        I truly salute

the grit & determination of some St Nick Malaysian girls,

who everyday faithfully wake up at 4+ am early morning,
come rain or shine everyday ,

to cross the JB Malaysian - Singapore custom ,

catch a bus + MRT to school in Ang Mo Kio for lessons.

                        And then,
Repeat back the backwards journey to go back to their home in Johore Bahru.

I don't know how these St Nick
Sec 4 Malaysian girls (students) do it, everyday.
It just amazes me at their perseverance, that they had been travelling like this, since 2022 Sec 3 last year, after the covid restriction cross borders were lifted sometime in 2021 Sec 2.

I am full of respect, and salute these Malaysian 2023 Sec 4 girls
                        :salute:
