You sound happy to catch the virus. As long as the symptoms are mild, you will be ok. Afterall, you are still young 🙂

Do check the validity of the ARt kits given by govt much earlier as they shld be near the expiry dates.

My dad who lives in Tampines, received the 6 ART kits given by govt via post. The expiry is Mar or Apr 2024.

I will continue to sleep in another room. Not really cough..but do cough when esp after chewing those nutty stuff as it tickles the throat. I m now using our common space..yalor, need to pay extra care coz exam around the corner le.

Any idea, if test is -ve then it is not infectious anymore or need wait for few more days?
My husband came down with the cold before me, and so I probably caught it from him. But we have never bothered to isolate etc, so I've had other chances to catch but didn't. He recovered much faster this time, maybe because it wasn't Covid, or it was his 2nd/3rd time!

I wouldn't worry about your daughters - if they are going to get it, they should have already and it's too late to do anything. You won't be infectious after day 7.

Actually don't know how is the SOP at home for many nowadays.. when tested positive, I told my mom. My mom asked me to put on mask at home since dd2 is having so many issues recently..I was like how like this..I have been living with them as per normal for the past 2 days when I was having fever. So I ended up no mask wearing at home, have my own mug/cup, eat and sit and my own corner. We still move around all inside the car but I put my mask on. Outside I tightened my mask.
Take care and rest more if can... . good to hear yours is mild.

I am happy in that hopefully it means that any future infections of Covid will be mild. And the worst has happened - I got it while travelling, but it didn't completely ruin my trip. My greatest fear has been that it will come at some really inconvenient time and mess up my schedule.

I don't know why you think I'm young? I turn 60 next year!

                  All are young :imcool:
I was age 21 last year :rahrah:

I think even if one has covid, w/o testing or checking, nobody knows and life is just as per normal.

                    Still young. Mindset issue

Can't quite decide what to call myself - not \"old\", because I don't feel old! But not \"young\" either, in terms of energy level and maturity and experience (or lack thereof!)

I think we \"older\" people must stand out against the thinking that younger is better. We have so much more wisdom, experience, maturity, and we shouldn't let that be dismissed by the young (who don't know what they haven't got). Personally, I'm glad not to be 21 again for those reasons, even though I envy their energy levels!

\"Youth is wasted on the young\" (George Bernard Shaw).
