Do you have any idea if children need to attend GEP math and Olympiad math concurrently to prepare for the GEP?

I think Olympiad math training is sufficient. My son attended the Math Kangaroo Competition training at \"The Math Classroom\" and it did help him get through the first round of the GEP test.

No particular preparation is the standard advise.

40 years btw. Agree with u. GEB should do a full review and report, from all involved parties’ pov. Has the GEP fulfilled its purpose?

And I want to raise an important qn: since prep is not encouraged (and not needed), why not just spring it as a surprise test? No need to announce the dates nor the year/age for the test mah. -
