DH came back fr bz trip & had sore throat & felt falling sick. He hardly fall sick and hv good health generally. Thank goodness after consulting with doc, he was cleared of negative but diagnosed as having sinus congestion. Was worried he’ll be hit with C as MIL had been with us just over the weekend and if DH C+ and wld be infectious in early stage. Really a relief.

Eh... A bit late, no? I don't think you want to pass it to your mother in case you have already caught it from DH.
DH was diagnosed with covid yesterday. I wonder if I should go to my mother for a few days with the children? -
Agree, better dont go to your mom's place as she is a more senior person. I feel the more you should stay together as anyone of you may have caught it already. Take note of any symptoms.
Just sharing my own experience. I caught it recently and didn't know that it was covid so living as usually with family members during my fever period of abt 2 days. By the time I confirmed it, I tried to separate myself from them as much as possible.
I pulled a mattress and sleep at one corner in a shared bedroom. I cooked and baked for the family. Meal time eat separately. Day time stayed at one corner of the house. Get own separate tissue box etc. No mask wearing at home though as I felt not much point already. And they were lucky this time round.
When sore throat came, I prepared half mug of thick lemon juice with salt to sip regularly. When started feeling uncomfortable with my lung (I was an asthmatic child and during covid, I replaced my coffee with tea)..ie I felt a bit 'cooling' at lung and some phlegm inside..for me, I feel got to take the cough/phlegm medicine (which I usually avoid) for few times. I find it effective.
After that, I boiled pear with the nanxing/beixing. Drank 1 time and I personally find it good. You may search fm the internet see what you like on recipes that are good for cough/lung.
Then :xedfingers: we shall get through it. Good luck. -

Too late to do anything about it. Those who have been infected will catch it anyway, and you won't know who has been infected. It could be that some won't get it anyway. Anyway, most Covid infections are no worse than a normal flu, especially if you've all been vaccinated.

Chief, I m thankful so far. I don’t really feel sick. When the thermometer consistently showing more than 38.5 I thought the thermometer is spoilt. I still function quite normally.

It’s important to consider the well-being of everyone in the household when dealing with a situation like COVID-19. Good thing, no more COVID in my country. Wearing a mask or doing precautions is no longer mandatory.

I just discovered (maybe I'm late to the game!) that 2 brands of ART test kids have had their expiry extended by 9 months. So I won't have to throw them away yet, though I doubt I'm going to use them before the extended expiry date.

I haven't found any info about an extension for SD Biosensor (I have 3 expiring in Oct 2023). Anyone heard of other brands getting an extension? -
I hope the govt will say something about the extension of the ART kits. Those given by them will be expiring soon.

Aiyah just use them on random days before expiry to make sure you are not asymptomatic lor.
