I actually find this year DSA info/discussion not as much as previous years. I was actively reading up past years DSA thread and was excited about our turn this year. But I guess most parents already have most information on hand by reading up like me.
The official cut off date for scgs interviews is next week . So there's still possibility...
Interestingly, scgs info here on ksp very sparse considering the large DSA cohort.

Let the kids focus on PSLE nevertheless. If the CO letter comes, it’s a bonus. If there’s no rejection letter yet, also mean hope is there.

Yes, you are right on point about this issue ; the thing is probably cos this school is an Olevel sec sch hence they have limited CO that they can offer ? At this moment, they wanted the confirmation from the child which is causing much stress, as the child is still undecided at this point of time , but much pressure is apply to provide a answer now or it means that the child doesn’t want to accept this CO n they will withdraw it now .
I don't think it matters if the school is the first choice or not as the issue is more about putting pressure on the child/parent to accept the offer when they have not been given enough time to consider it. Some people might want to wait till all the offers are out, others may want to wait till the prelims are over, some others may want to wait till they have sat for the PSLE.
The point is that if the school wants to make the offer, then offer it sincerely and without conditions, just like how some schools have done so. This practice of offering the CO with the condition that we will promise to accept it is rather distasteful, and is actually making me reconsider if this is a coach I really want my child to train under for the next 4 years.
Any other parents whom received a sport CO & facing similar issue as this ? Must the decision be made asap ?
