Hi I am a SAHM in my late 30s with 4 kids ranging from 8yrs old to 2 years old. When I was pregnant with no.4 two years ago, could feel that my body already "wear & tear". Walked very slowly during last trimester cos could feel baby pressing down. Also breasfed all four for at least a year. At the end of each day, I just can’t wait to sit down on the sofa & do nothing…

Hi definitely over qualify and checking in here ..

In my 40s with only one P2 kid. now who can beat me haha!

Nowadays with advanced development and progress, whether we are the Baby Boomers, or the X or Y generation, the trend is : the 40s are the new 30s, the 30s are the new 20s! the 20s are the teens!! So that's some phenomenon we all can embrace and live with, isn't it? 🙂

I also qualify with one P1 ds and nearing mid 40s… Used to envy others who are similarly aged but have older kids. But think each family has its joys and sorrows.

Hi. I'm in my late 30s too. Kids age 11 & 9. It's the age, where I thought I'm still strong but then realize the body takes a while to recuperate after a fall or after a vigirous exercise. 😉

                I'm 38. Son is 10 and daughter is 5+.

I dread to think of reaching the big 40 soon. 😢

Hi, am in this age group with a DS at 3 yo!

Worked for a good 10 years before meeting my DH, pak tor got married in mid-30s and have my DS thereafter.

As they say, better late than never!

Time & tide wait for no man and neither does the Biological Clock.

It is a pity for us women who by the time we finished \"cheong\" enough at work to justify the many years of school fees paid by parents, our bio clock already late liao.

So I always tell my younger colleagues now if they are married please have babies young. We may want to wait but our bodies cannot wait!

                  BTW, what is \"SMH\"?

Young women now will get married but start family later…enjoy some couple time first. But we do not know whether our biological clock inside are as cooperative…‘wait, let me enjoy first and have baby later’.

Young women may not that fertile either.

Married, then preferably have one child first…rather than establish career and regret later by having to visit fertility specialists.

I have been going to Thong Chai Medical on and off to seek treatment hopeing to have a 2nd kid.
I was so surprised to see young ladies there aged 28 and 30. Some early 30's having difficulty conceiving??
Actually at 28 I was not even thinking of having a kid.

Snowball, I only find the books at the NTUC at Khatib MRT , not sure if its available at all branches.

Tam, I think need to change mommies to parents, cos KSP definitely got more daddies than SMH.... hahaha
