For this new AL grading, can I check there is no more bell curve already right? Means kid is this mark will be this AL no more consideration of performance of whole cohort right? Thank you🙏

The wait is terrible this year 😭😭😭

But i already told my kid treat as gone with the wind focus on psle...but without getting any letter from the school, there is no closure ( at least we get a letterhead from the school as momento?🤣)

This year even the v famous RGS always drag till last day is early. Not sure what the rest waiting for....

Yes, u are right. Different from T-score last time : no more comparison, no more benchmark yourself against several thousands of other P6 candidates.


What u see, is what u get.
Is your own original raw score achieved in the National exam, then check fall into which AL score range, per subject.

Example

If your original PSLE raw score (marks) for Science is say, 89,
then,

89 falls into the range of AL … 2

So, u will see AL 2 for PSLE Science, printed onto your PSLE certificate.

any speculative reasons you can think of why some schools are this late? would one of the considerations be the prelim results?

I am v drama, i am thinking of the sch sitting in their board room and having long deliberation discussion who to give and who not to...

I know is really drama🤣 but other than this reason I cant think of any...and another reason i can think of schs may also be considering their prelims scores cos not all schools prelims are out yet, heard that some schs are returning their prelims after sept holidays...so this may be another considering factor

Just called yesterday one of neighborhood school..they say just send out mail yesterday......🤔
Top schools I understand high response so they send out fast..normal school slow...taking their own sweet time...maybe not many apply DSA? 😒

Has anyone heard back from NYGH DSA Service Leadership? Official email states 11Sep, tho just wondering if anyone has heard back early from all the other domains? 🤪

I think NYGH is one of the schools which traditionally release their outcomes towards the tail end of the deadline. Best is just to call them and check. The least they can tell you is whether they have released or not, and if they will release in batches or all in one shot.
