Really thankful for all the updates n info shared here. Previously we didn’t even know about this dsa till I came across sharing here just weeks before the dsa application.

N this dsa suits my DD very well. She has been volunteering actively outside school since young age plus also the leadership positions that she held in school. Thankful for all the sharing here 🙏🏻.

All the best to the other parents who are still waiting for CO or WL. Also all the best to their PSLE which is coming soon.

Remember to Work hard Play hard!

Hi, I wonder if the category 2 in RV DSA domain to PA. The only domain that seems to be academic is Cat 4 scientific investigation. Is your child in Cat 2? Could u share the specific domain?
Hi, my daughter is Category 2, Band DSA.

Thanks. My DD is not an A’s student but still doing good. She is a prefect who is in her Community Problem Solving Team and Innovation Club team in school. Her team participated in national and twice international competition in US and did win. A few exhibitions and also regular opportunities for her to showcase their projects in school & outreach to the communities.

She can talk confidentially to mass when we parents not around. Was given opportunities in school to do sharings…which I rarely get to witness.

I would say Cedar is not her 1st choice but the interview process was surprisingly more meaningful & impactful to my DD. Hope this sharings help parents who keen to apply for their child for next yr DSA in Cedar.

We applied for 2 more schools for DSA but the interview process is differ. Anyway she still must work hard for her PSLE, to discover her own academic capabilities since prep so hard. No slag till end of it.

There are several examples in this thread of parents with kids applying DSA to FSBB schools.
