Anyone has who has served as EM for less than a year got letter from PA for Phase 2B?
No chance at all. The PA goes thru this every year. Even with MP's and chairman's appeal, PA will not burge on the 1yr requirements. Not even if it means only a few weeks. I strongly suggest that u do not hold too much hope for it. -

You will get your appointment letter from PA if you are confirmed as EM. To expedite the process, you might need to talk to your chairman or Assistant Constituency Manager. Thanks Citigirl. I'm refering to confirmation of an EM, sad to say, till today (which is the last day) I still have not received the confirmation letter. My boy is born in yr 2005, this letter is meant for next year registration.
Thanks LLX04 and Marudine. Indeed a good website to check on the status. http://app.grassrootsconnect.org.sg/default.asp
Best regards to all

Have told my chairman early June, and he has told me the CC has sent out to process. I dun understand why it take so long to process. Looks like nothing can be done, is already 1st of July.
And I saw ppl here commenting there's no way to appeal to MP

The dialogue from the PA website still says "failed to login".
The only hope now is when I received the letter is before 30 June 10.
Otherwise all my effort wasted, no doubt sometimes I enjoy assisting in RC tasks and get pretty updated news around us. -

Why don't you try calling PA? I called them about some questions I had about this whole scheme and they were very helpful (though the person in charge took three days to return my call - he was very apologetic about it though). The dialogue from the PA website still says \"failed to login\".

If you have indeed served one year as an EM, I am sure they will be able to investigate. And hopefully, you will get your letter before Phase 2B which is on 22nd and 23rd July, so you have about three weeks. -

I'm kind of confuse here. U are refering to the letter that states abt your appointment on the committee? If that is the one u are refering, as long it is minuted that u are an EM from the which ever date, the letter from PA will be the same. It has nothing to do as to when u receive the letter. The time u receive has to do with how your RC works with PA. Someone will pass to someone else then to your chairman or likewise u attended a course conducted by PA, and someone else pass to u... No worries.Have told my chairman early June, and he has told me the CC has sent out to process. I dun understand why it take so long to process. Tink u got the wrong idea. I'm waiting for the appointment letter and not the phase 2B letter. I need to get the appointment letter as an EM+ 1 year of service to year 2011, then I'll be able to get into phase 2B next year. -

Thank you very much. -

If you are still an observer, your CC will submit your application for screening. After screening is approved, your application will be send to your MP for endorsement and followed by processing in PA HQ.The dialogue from the PA website still says \"failed to login\".

To have a better picture on the status of your application, just contact your CC and talk to your Senior or Deputy Constituency Manager. They should be able to advise you on the status of your application. -

Yes I'm still an observer. I'm not too sure whether mine is at which stage, screening, endorsing or processing. My chairman just tell me the CC has submited???? I did told my chairman of getting the phase 2B next year, and the date is crucial to me, ie by 30 June 2010.

I do not wish to ask the CC as I dun want my chairman to feel offended.
