I just found out from this year onwards, no more display of grades percentile in the report card inside the ISP portal. Do parents know about this and provided the sch any feedback? Who do we know how our kids fare if no percentile? Do they still have grade deflation?

It's in line with MOE directions, so it seems. TPE did not have percentile tables as it is no longer considered a block test.

Anyway, it's now a black box once again.....sigh*....not being ks but just trying to give ourselves assurance that our kids are doing ok in school. This assurance has disappeared and caused a bit of stress. I have to resort to asking my girls to go the informal way to find out. -

It was called Block Tests last year and prior.

no leh, they just received their block tests results last week and this has already been uploaded as official assessments (30% or so I think), not the regular class practice tests.

Actually NYGH doesn’t leh,…but maybe not an issue for me cos no national exams ba and my target is to meet at least msg2.5 to take 4H2 in Sec 4.

My DD2 told me she saw many students crying after taking the J1 maths paper today. Aiyo, will the experience impact their mental health or not? It can be depressing and stressful for not doing well in school exams but I believe the majority of them will likely get an A for their actual A levels.
