any idea is this year round 1 was easier? and how many kids are accepted post round2?

Cohort size is around 40k kids
10% will pass round 1
1% to be accepted after round 2

Only those who got through were given the letter. For round 2, those who cleared will be getting a brown envelope. The rest, no letter as well. All done, in a hush hush way.
