Hi hi, does anyone here know what is the process for NYGH's suppliers to bid for any of their requirement? Other independent schools like ACS, MGS and SCGS go through portals like GeBiz (Government Procurement Biz Portal), and I know HCI has a Procurement Portal on their website. But can't seem to find any for NYGH. Anyone can enlighten? I'm not a supplier btw just concerned about how school funds are being used.

Yes my daughter was awarded before. If I don’t recall wrongly it is by application only and the applicants are selected based on a variety of factors including academics, cca awards and leadership, VIA etc.

No idea….Sch is not transparent about this. Firstly this is by application so not everyone who is eligible bother to apply 2. For those who bother or attempt to apply, there’s many things to fill out/complete (ie very daunting) 3. For those who applied, I have heard many were eventually not awarded. My girl barely scrapped through I think cos she’s not super outstanding.

My dd is seeking help to improve her LA, her weakest link! Generally, she’s doing well for all other subjects except her LA is consistently B4 throughout the year in S3! Any advise or even tuition recommendation will be greatly appreciated.

Don’t think so. I think she was just lucky to scrap through as she didn’t do the NYAA nor did she hv any individual award other.
