I bought some pork ribs for tomorrow’s dinner.

Should I keep them in the freezer compartment or should I just leave them in the normal chiller compartment?

I intend to cook them only around 5pm tmrr

If I have no time to thaw them before cooking, i will just keep in chiller. If they come in frozen, better to keep in same state until day of cooking.
If bought fresh from market, not sure. Keen to know the better approach.

Till tomorrow afternoon I think still ok. If need to be after tomorrow, I will maybe cook and keep it in fridge or marinate it. It depends on handling also ba.

From wet mkt not sure if the handling is as good as packed and labelled expiry date from the Redmart/supermarkets? From Redmart eg. I m quite comfortable to follow their expiry date as stated on the packaging coz properly sealed. But ever happened when opened got strong smell also.

You can wash & marinate now & keep in chiller. O’wise, keep in freezer & take out tmr to marinate & then put in chiller till u cook.

Better put them in freezer. I always put mine if i don't cook it within 10hrs. Will take longer to thaw but quality better than leaving in normal compartment.

Oh yes, if want the pork to stay fresh in chiller till next day, maybe better to marinate them first.

I don’t intend to marinate and will just cook with Lee Kum Kee Honey Garlic sauce. Throw in some raddish to stew together.

More than 10hrs uncooked plus w/o marinade, guess I will freeze them then.

Once I kept a tray of Stingray overnight in chiller, the next day I opened up, oh my god…

Just now I went ntuc. The price still at 7.70 maybe changing soon? I bought 10+2 smaller tray else cannot finish on time. Bought cheese for pizza tomorrow.

Pour the LKK sauce to marinate overnight. Tomorrow straight to the pot.
