      Hi,

      I’ve got 2 pre-school kids (nursery and K1).

We are planning for a 2 weeks holiday in 2nd half of December.

I know this is the peak season, but no choice, as helper is going on home leave.

      Any good ideas?

We haven’t brought our kids on a plane yet. So far, we have just driven to Malaysia.

how many adults will be going on this trip?

it will be quite a handful if it is going to be just you & your spouse and you pre-schoolers.

Likely to just be myself and wife.

You are right, they are a handful. We drove up to Genting before and stayed 2 nights. They were certainly a handful!

I figured that we can't do anything too hectic. Needs to be a relaxing type of holiday.

Hey, I think some of the Clubmed activities need 5 years old and above . However, its a few years back and its at Bintan.

If you really want to cut cost, less hassle and enjoy urself, maybe do a self-drive up melaka- holiday inn. We used to idle there for a few days - enjoy hotel facilities, take a walk down Jonker road, zoo trip, ferry wheel, shopping and makan. Any emergency u still near to singapore to drive back.

                  Hi,

Thanks. That sounds like a good idea. Will explore this option.

Which hotel is good? Holiday Inn?

How about free n easy, self-drive holiday in brisbane/surfer’s paradise?

Driving is easy there, and with so many self contained apts/theme/nature parks to choose from, you’ll be spoiled for choice. But Dec maybe too hot, though.

Thanks. I'm fearful of the plane ride there with the kids!

And yes, it does sound hot.
