Just now I went ntuc. The price still at 7.70 maybe changing soon? I bought 10+2 smaller tray else cannot finish on time. Bought cheese for pizza tomorrow.
No leh. The price at ChinaTown Point NTUC was showing 8.10. But some eggs can weigh 64g intermix with those usual 59g.

Instead of ready made sauce, what can we use to marinate pork ribs? Soya sauce, garlic, ginger, rice wine?

Maybe look online for ideas? Or look at what goes into the ready-made sauce and adapt from there? I tend to just throw in whatever I feel like at the moment - no recipe! I adjust as I cook. I read somewhere that salt (or something that includes salt) is the most important as it tenderises the meat.

My mum has a very simple yet nice recipe to marinate sliced Fish/chicken/pork.

She said to me 20yrs ago, if I can’t cook well never mind, just remember 3 ingredients:
              酱清、麻油、胡椒粉

Light soya sauce, sesame oil, pepper. Good for marinating all kinds of meat & sliced fish fillet

For marinating, I use mainly soya sauce, pepper and salt.

Easy and simple, no need to buy extra. Nice.

Tried at times, often dont do very well due to one or two missing ingredients and timing... 😓

yups! Taste (savoury/umami), spice and fragrance settled with the 3 ingredients.

No need to follow recipes exactly - I use them as suggestions!
