Cool! Is it a stationary bike or a real one? My brother in law bought a stationary bike after his knee replacement surgery and was able to get back to work in less than 2 months! I was very impressed.
Stationary. That's the only form of exercise that I am willing to do, and I have to confess that I don't do much, and only very low intensity. But I reckon some activity is better than nothing. I like to pedal in front of a fan, and read my ebook at the same time (so you can see how low intensity my exercise is!). I've had my current one for over 8 years, and various things no longer work, and bits are starting to fall off!

Wah. You used one until it broke... Impressive.

I've a treadmill for like 3-4 years and I used it regularly and it's still moving strong (I 🙏 ) Reading ebook is a good idea and you won't even notice the time you spend on the thing. I put my treadmill in front of my TV and play a puzzle game and get so engrossed that sometimes I forget I'm on the treadmill.

I think it disintegrated from old age, not because of hard use! It certainly didn't get hard use from me (gentle use about twice a week for 20 mins at a time!), and no-one else in the family uses it.

i have the typical symptoms of covid but ART negative (tested at home twice).

I was at the polyclinic this morning about 7.45am.

Around 7.55am, the doctors started streaming into their consultation rooms. Soon my number was called and I was out of the room about 2 min later.

              The consultation fee was $16
              30 paracetamol at $1.20
10 yellow flu tablets at 40 cts (for night)
I was given a branded lozenges which a box of 16 tabletsat $8.
2 bottles of cough syrup at $1.40
Some tablets for phelgm and some more flu tablets meant for day.
I even asked for 2 tubes of Aqueous Cream at $3.50.

              Total damage $34.65.

I am confident that if I were to see a private and given the above medication, my bill isnt going to be $34.65.

And wait till you see bill for school kids. My jaw dropped the first time looking at it. 15yrs ago dd see doc everytime already $100/visit, waiting time at least 2hrs even with appointment not to mention carpark charges incurred…for same medications can be bought over the counter till I became so confident in self medicating. How not to like Polyclinic?

I also self medicating but my stock is running low and hence need to make a trip to the polyclinic.
At home, I have paracetamol, lozenges, flu tablets etc.

School kids cost the same as adults, surely? My kids' bills used to be about $30 at a pte GP clinic. That was about 6 yrs ago, so maybe it will be $35 now?

But we usually don't take much medication as we would have cheaper stock at home.

From star's list, we usually only take the ones in red:
                      30 paracetamol at $1.20
10 yellow flu tablets at 40 cts (for night)

I realised there are cough syrups meant for dry cough and other types of cough.
