Just submitted my insurance claim for travel refunds from cancelling my Egypt trip. Filling in the form and getting the documentation together was as tough as booking the trip! We are supposed to get 50% of what was not refunded. They say they'll pay in 3 working days - let's see.

And then we can start thinking of where to go in April/May (the next travel window for us) - but not in the Middle East! We originally planned to travel in Feb/Mar, but other things have cropped up.

Will you consider going to Nepal or Morocco next year?

No particular interest in those places. We're considering Japan and/or China.

Dd did mention want to go Japan but I told them some other time. Especially since covid never travel, I m more comfortable with old places at least for this year.

You and dds can just join the Package Tours by travel agent to Japan, they will arrange everything for you. :imcool:

Oh dear , my mum also gave me black face before when we went hk some yrs back . First few days argued with my father then last few days with me … I think when old , dun give too much opinions n comments will be more harmonious… my hub said he will remind me next time when I m old so the kids dun “ suffer”
Let the young people have choice n freedom since if they are already matured adults ( > 24)

You can plan for F&E. Our family went several trips either driving ard Hokkaido or just the JR & Shinkansen trains fr prefectures to prefectures. It’s fun esp the kids will learn to figure directions. It builds their confidence when they toppo.

Why ? This yr is the best , after two major exams .
Yen is at the lowest too .
But my side is giving Jap a break this year.
