Any fake parent can easily join in to RGS chat group, pretend to be a RGS parent just to gather info quietly (secretly), without anyone knowing, right ?

For security purpose,
join your own daughter's 2024 unique Sec 1 parents chat group.
Do so only after you know in detail which unique (particular) Sec 1 class, she has been assigned to.

Why ?

Because

When you join Sec 1 individual classroom parents chatgroup, someone will be there in charge, to authenticate your daughter's name, inside that particular Sec 1 class. This way, no Tom, Dick nor Harry can pretend to be a fake RGS parent. If you cannot identify your daughter, they will reject you, from joining that class's chat group. They will ask you to leave, politely.
This is how verification, is done.

The GEP students are distributed across the level, no more specific GEP classes for many years.

Hi, is the SBGE programme at RGS integrated into the curriculum for all RGS students, or only for selected students? Is selection based on whether they were from GEP?

My apologies for posting this bus service as we received feedback that many parents cannot find school bus service for their girls.

We are a licence bus transport service provider ferrying Raffles Girls’ School girls since 2017, covering Choa Chu Kang, Bukit Batok, Bukit Timah, Jurong East, Jurong West, Taman Jurong, West Coast, and Clementi.

If you are from other areas, and have a group pooling together, we try our best to help start a new route.

Need some kind advice here from parents who also stayed in the east.


We stay in the east, near Tampines. My DD result is AL4 but we are concerned of the travel distance for her, if she get into RGS. We wanted her to consider DHS as it seems nearer. I would like to hear from those parents who stay in East.

Any comments greatly appreciated.

There is not much a difference in travelling time from Tampine MRT to RGS (53mins) & DHS. (44mins).

Parent is able to access RGS’s parent portal and Parent Gateway.

For students, they will be trained to communicate via student portal.

If I recall correctly they will be randomly assigned. I don’t think it is an issue which house they belong to.

My girl told me that during her time the Y1 class will be assigned to a specific house.
