Any reason? Please share.
During 1st day, we witness other kid crying as is his first day.
But he wasnt attended to but continue to cry at one corner. Until later he stopped and then he start to join the other kids.
Perhaps our expectation was for newly joined kids, they will get more attention.
On 2nd day, our kid's turn to cry and same thing, he wasnt attended to and left to cry. The teachers were busy getting into the routine of singing and dancing with the other kids.
I also saw one of the non-Sg teacher having her MacDonalds breakfast in class.
On 3rd day, our son cried again. This time, the same non-sg teacher stared at him and even used a wooden puzzle block to knock on the table infront of him. And the best thing is, we were there. What if we were not? To stop a kid from crying by staring at him and knock on the table?? To us, we don't think that is suitable.
Infact, since the 2nd day, our son had nightmares and diarrhea so we thought of pull him out first.
Meanwhile we are looking at CM @ Pasir Ris and wonder is anyone has any feedback ? -

Most centre, will try to make the parents withdraw their kid by doing the above act. -

First of all, he is not hyper active.
Secondly, if using such ways to make parents pull out children, then it really doesnt make sense for any communication between parents and teachers. Just scare the kids and parents will do.
Maybe the lesser the children, the lighter the work load, just like any other salaried job out there. -
I am quite surprise to read about the unpleasant encounters at little skool house tampines as I just started my boy in the school… today is his 2nd day and we are looking forward to next week!
From my observations, the teachers are quite patient and they have 3 to 4 teachers in the class… the principal explained that they are in there to help settle new children. In fact, about a week ago, we were invited over to the school to meet with my boy’s class teachers and have a mini orientation (the teachers showed us around and checked with us on my child’s likes and dislikes). In the principal’s email invitation, many articles on separation anxiety were listed and it really helps me quite abit.
I know that there are 3 to 4 toddler classes though, so my child might be in a different class as yours… -

3 to 4 teachers in the class for how many kids? Wow, sound like the school teachers are incompetent or too rich...I am quite surprise to read about the unpleasant encounters at little skool house tampines as I just started my boy in the school... today is his 2nd day and we are looking forward to next week!

I'm surprised you could precisely know it is toddler class and not other class. I hope u are not any of the non sg teacher, registered today in this forum and started sharing yur 'experience'.I am quite surprise to read about the unpleasant encounters at little skool house tampines as I just started my boy in the school... today is his 2nd day and we are looking forward to next week!

Good luck to you if your toddler is there cos there are emails sent to us to inform that there is increasing case of HFMD recently, something like 6th case already. -
I just wanted to find out more about my child’s school and was surprised to read the negative encounters as compared to my personal experience so joined the forum to comment. What’s more surprising is the replies to my post. I guess all parent’s expectations and perspectives are different so I will take everything I read with a pinch of salt.
My son is down with flu today and naturally everyone (especially grandparents) at home linked the flu to school - not sure if it’s HFMD though. -
Hi there
I am planning to register my 18 month old boy to Little Skool House at OCC… any feedback or experience to share for 18 months old classes?
Thanks!
