COP 4 means some nett 4s will be in, some nett 4s will be ballotted out. Same with AL Bands and PSLE S1 posting.
      This year (2024),
the COP for RI (Science) is nett 4.

Is quite hard to enter RI, without HMT (Higher Mother tongue : Higher Tamil / Higher Malay / Higher Chinese ).

      Because

even amongst SG citizenship group itself, the computer system will admit in

raw 6 - 4 = nett 2 first, before admit in the next group :-

      raw 7 - 4 = nett 3, before admit in the

      raw 6 - 2 = nett 4.

      Thus, amongst the nett 4,
only the few lucky ones got balloted in, into the remaining last few vacancies (slots). The majority who entered RI are the nett 3 JAE students.

So, for JAE students who do not take Higher Mother tongue, you will be at a disadvantage,

      because

during the MOE posting to Junior Colleges,
your competitors, the nett (2s and 3s), will enter first before you.

One in three students also obtained a full University Admission Score (UAS) of 90. The mean UAS was 85, while the median UAS was 88.

45 per cent of students offering four H2 subjects scored distinctions in all four subjects. 60 per cent of students scored at least three H2 distinctions in their content-based subjects. Overall, 492 students attained at least 6 Distinctions.

From a small sample size of about 15+ students, appears that there were quite a number of unexpected Cs for Econs.

Can consider appealing for a review of the results. All the best.

RI take in all the academically strongest students. So I am not surprise with RI A level performance. If a mid tier school producing such top performance, I will be in awe.

From 2023 A level batch last year cohort (born 2005) -

some JAE students from Chung Cheng High Secondary school also joined RI, and clinched 90 Rank points (perfect score) when collecting their A level results , on Friday 23 Feb 2024, 2.30 pm.

There are more than 11 \"BCME\" subject combination inside RI (2023 A level batch), from this batch of graduates. In some of these classes -

the students who have clinched 90 RP, all come from the JAE,

while in other classes, those who scored perfect score (90 RP) come from a combination of
                  ( IP + JAE ) students

RP : Rank points, admission into universities
