Not all go for bubble tea. Mine just won’t go for anything sugary or unhealthy or ‘unscientific’. I get questioned OK. Lol
In teenage (and my) parlance - Bubble Tea nicer and the same lah! :rotflmao: -

DS’s gfrd didn’t cry tho. She seems quite level headed. She’s independent type alright. Hope when DS decide overseas is an option, she’ll not dissuade him. Pssst… I alr sent signals to her

You can cook the \"liang cha\" and put it in the refrigerator. Don't say you have made the \"liang cha\" specially for him. Since the weather is very hot, he may want to take the \"liang cha\" instead of ice water too cool his body down.
thanks for the reminder. but now he think he is old enough, a lot of things also dun want to eat, own thinking, dun wan us to concern too much. eat gummy vitamins lor -

And now they have so many ways to keep in touch in real time! When my husband and I were in different countries when I did my MA, we wrote to each other twice a week - and it took about 5 days for each letter to reach. So the letters would always cross. We spoke on the phone once a week, but it was quite expensive and on my end, the phone was in the pantry and above the washing machine! Not the most conducive place to have private chats. No mobile phones in those days (1989).

My DS no GF to cry over him.
DS enlistment is not as big as those at tekong. Think his whole company only 115 fellas. Only 2 persons per recruit were invited for their enlistment. Most parents are rather cool. DH was one of those parents who were so excited over the display of the gears and equipment that the boys will be using.
No liang cha for DS either. He believes in good ole water and at most manuka honey. He does not drink bubble tea but will go for a glass of coke sometimes.
